Our Agriculture
Our second line of business alongside the horse farm is agriculture.
Our Angus suckler cows enjoy time out with their calves on the alp in summer, and in winter we look after them lovingly in the barn.
We raise our own organic Angus Natura Beef, which is available to buy in our farm store or can also be delivered to our guests’ homes.
Overseeding
Overseeding makes better use of the yield potential of grassland and repairs soil damage;
Here, Mendi sows the seeds in the meadows and also provides all the relevant tips worth knowing.
Manuring
Spreading liquid manure close to the ground, whether with a drag hose distributor, hosing from the farm or truck or with a slurry tanker;
Mendi adapts to the different meadow conditions of farmers and responds to individual wishes.
Mowing on steep slopes
There are not flat meadows everywhere; Claudio successfully mows on steep slopes with the Brielmaiser motor mower.
Winter Works
Mendi mills out icy and hard paths and prepares them so that they are accessible to everyone. Snow clearing is also one of his tasks.
